Mission 1 - Part 1: Uday and Qusay's Last Stand

Mosul, Iraq, July 22, 2003 - Kuma\War's first online game mission features Uday and Qusay Hussein, sons of Saddam and leaders of his most notorious military units. The online game replicates the two-stage process the 101st Airborne and Special Forces endured, and the hours-long firefight it took to kill the infamous brothers.

Mission 4 - Part 1: Samarra Bank Heist

Samarra, Iraq. November 30, 2003 - After a disastrous month in which 100 coalition soldiers and civilians gave their lives in Iraq, soldiers of the 4th "Iron Horse" Infantry Division crush a sophisticated daytime attack in the middle of this 'Sunni Triangle' city, killing 46 insurgents.

Mission 5 - Part 2: Samarra Bank Heist

Samarra, Iraq. November 30, 2003 - US forces from the 1st Battalion, 66th Regiment and the 4th Infantry Military Police repel two simultaneous ambushes led by Saddam Hussein's Fedayeen soldiers.

Mission 7 - Iran Hostage Rescue Mission Part 1

Fallujah, Iraq. February 14, 2004 - Our mission 6 online shooting game features a ferocious assault foretelling April's bloody insurrection, when insurgents attack a Fallujah police station, killing 17 Iraqi police officers and releasing some 87 prisoners.

Mission 8 - Iran Hostage Rescue Mission Part 2

Tehran, Iran - April 24, 1980: After hostages are seized at the US embassy, intelligence personnel and Special Forces plan a daring raid to get them back.

Mission 9 - Fallujah Abizaid Attack

Fallujah, Iraq. February 12, 2004: General John P. Abizaid, commander of all US forces in the Middle East, arrives to inspect an Iraqi Civil Defense outpost in Fallujah, Iraq and narrowly escapes an assassination attempt by local insurgents.

Mission 10 - Samarra Stryker Brigade

Samarra, Iraq. December 15, 2003: The Stryker Brigade and its snipers battle insurgents armed with human shields, only to become surrounded by a second, hidden ambush.

One is created by US Army Staff Sergeant Dan Snyder, formerly of the Marine Modeling and Simulation Management Office and creator of Marine Doom. The other two are by Icebreakr, our European multiplayer map expert. All mission maps are accompanied by expert tactical commentary from Sergeant Snyder.

Mission 14 - Fallujah Vigilant Resolve

Hundreds of US Marines and Iraqi forces surround Fallujah and prepare to launch Operation Vigilant Resolve, a month-long military campaign to flush out and punish insurgents responsible for the brutal mutilation of 4 US civilian contractors and to quell the raging hotbed of pro-Saddam loyalists once and for all. Their mission is complicated. Marines battle endlessly with guerilla forces in the Sunni City, tightening the noose by day and then retreating at nightfall.

Mission 15 - Mosul - The al Qaeda Connection

Saddam Hussein is captured, and in the weeks that follow, insurgents loyal to the former dictator initiate waves of violence against US and coalition forces that will continue for the better part of the following year. At the same time, foreign terrorist organizations recognize opportunity in Iraq's abundance of chaos.

Mission 16 - Battle in Sadr City

Sadr City, Iraq - May 22, 2004: 1st Cavalry soldiers engage in a bloody, two-day battle throughout the raging region of Sadr-City.

Mission 17 - Baghdad: Mahdi Army Assault

Sadr City, Iraq - June 29, 2004: First Cavalry soldiers have seen 80 straight days of combat when Mahdi Army militiamen in Sadr City, Baghdad set up an ambush using IEDs to disable the US Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

Mission 18 - al Qaeda: The Battle for Mosul

On June 24, 2004, Mosul is rocked by a series of car and truck bombs that leave more than 100 people dead and 300 wounded. It is part of a country-wide assault on the Iraqi government by insurgents loyal to al Qaeda associate Abu Musab al Zarqawi.

Mission 19 - World SWAT Challenge

May 17 - May 22, 2004 Blackwater Headquarters,Moyock, NC; Twelve of the best SWAT teams from North America will compete in speed shooting, high-risk forced entry, rappelling, and even a waterborne assault and rescue at the World SWAT Challenge, a showcase of the tactics that make SWAT known the world over. Staged at Blackwater's 6,000-acre facility, the match-up will be televised on ESPN2.

Mission 20 - Freedom's Heroes: Rangers Lead the Way

Spera, Afghanistan. April 22, 2004: After witnessing a ruthless ambush by al Qaeda operatives, Army Rangers enter the line of fire to help free their comrades trapped in the kill zone.

Mission 21 - Korea: The Enemy Within

Anin Beach, North Korea. September 18, 1996: It is September 18, 1996. You are leading a squad of Republic of Korea (ROK) paratroopers called out of their barracks this autumn day in response to a report that a North Korean submarine has landed on a nearby beach. It is disgorged a team of heavily-armed enemy commandos, and you are not surprised.

Mission 22 - Dai Chopan

Dai Chopan, Afghanistan. June 8, 2004: US forces initiate a surprise attack on a terrorist stronghold, but when 100 Taliban fighters ambush Marines along the way, the roles reverse. Nestled in the terrorist enclave of Dai Chopan, the Taliban wage a lethal campaign against democracy.

Mission 23 - Timed Weapons Exercise

September 2004, Kuma Training Headquarters,Undisclosed Location. Improve your skills and compete with the Kuma community to post high scores to the Mission 23 leaderboard. This mission tests weapon accuracy and vehicle-handling ability.

Mission 24 - John Kerry's Silver Star

The Swift Boats - lightly armored, fast-moving, and armed to the teeth - move further up river but come, once again, under RPG fire. Instead of fleeing, Lieutenant (j.g.) John Kerry takes a hard 90-degree turn directly in the path of the enemy and charges toward shore, guns blazing. Hitting the bank, he and his radio man leap off their boat, tearing through the jungle after the last enemy.

Mission 25 - Najaf: al Mahdi Cemetery Battle

Najaf, Iraq. August 5, 2004: After months of sieges and ambushes in Najaf, the Mahdi Army uses a five-acre cemetery to stage its largest assault yet on the US Army and Marines.

Mission 26 - Osama 1998

In June 1998, the CIA's super-secret Bin Laden Unit planned a bold and daring raid to capture the Saudi terrorist mastermind and spirit him out of the country. It revolved around a family of Agency-backed guerillas. Codenamed TRODPINT, the men were former Afghan mujahedeen who had fought the Soviets during the 1980s.

Mission 27 - Timed Tactical Exercise

Mission 28 - Ramadi Convoy Exercise

Ramadi-Fallujah Highway, Iraq: The United States Army is taking steps and developing tools to help its soldiers learn how to anticipate and react to Improvised Explosive Devices - or IEDs - in Iraq. Kuma Reality Games is honored to have been asked to help.

Fallujah, Iraq. November 8, 2004: In an integral push to finally regain control of the violent Sunni city in time for national elections at the end of January, more than 10,000 US troops launch an all-out assault on Fallujah.

Mission 30 - VARIATIONS of Ramadi Convoy Exercise

Ramadi-Fallujah Highway, Iraq: This mission is a variation of mission 28 - the Ramadi IED map developed in conjunction with the US Army. It sets up a collection of scenarios using the same geographical layout. Each run-through presents a unique experience for the player. The design goal is to make it tough to "memorize" the map - something soldiers cannot do when on real assignment in Iraq.

Tora Bora, Afghanistan. December 5, 2001: Could military officials have botched their most promising opportunity to capture or kill the man behind the terrorist attacks of September 11th?

In this, Kuma's second al-Fajr mission, we follow the path of Marines of the 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment as they push their way into the neighborhood of Jolan, facing a hornets nest of enemy fire, prepared positions and booby traps. The Marines' job: investigate each and every structure for signs of the enemy in a deadly game of "whack a mole."

Iraqi Patrol is a custom multiplayer map designed specifically for 2-4 Team RedonBlue. It also contains a regular mission enabling Single Player, Mission and Coop modes. You will find insurgents, IEDs and a few surprises.

Occra Hills, Sierra Leone, September 10, 2000: The fate of six soldiers abducted in West Africa lies in a perilous rescue attempt by British troops.

Mission 39 - Bad Neighborhood

Bad Neighborhood is a custom multiplayer map designed specifically for 2 Team RedonBlue. It does not have a regular mission so there is no Single Player, Mission and Coop modes.

Mission 41 - Stories from the Front - Baghdad Convoy

Baghdad, Iraq - April 11, 2004: The discovery of an IED sets off a gripping chain of events along Iraq's most hellish highway. Baghdad Convoy, Sergeant Major James Ross's story, was submitted to Maxim Magazine for our Stories from the Front contest.

Mission 42 - Afghan Highlands

Afghan Highlands is a custom multiplayer map designed specifically for 2 Team RedonBlue (multiplayer mode). This map focuses exclusively on the typical small Aghan village. This locatio is typical of where much of the fighting between Coalition forces and the Taliban and Al-Qaeda rebels has taken place since 2001.

Mission 43 - Abu Ghraib Prison

Abu Ghraib, Iraq - April 2, 2005: Insurgents launch a bold attack on Iraq's infamous prison complex, and the Marines tasked to guard it. Marines are tasked with overseeing the security of Abu Ghraib prison, the sprawling 280-acre detention complex and home to some of Iraq's deadliest fighters. It's been a year since the infamous prison gained worldwide attention for a military abuse scandal involving US troops against its detainees, and today, Abu Ghraib will make headlines once more.

Mission 44 - Kentucky National Guard

Salman Pak, Iraq - March 20, 2005: Women in the Kentucky National Guard find themselves on the new front line in the War on Terror.

Mission 45 - Afghan Air Strikes

Paktia province, Afghanistan�April 11, 2005: Members of the new Afghan National Army battle al Qaeda in the mountains of Afghanistan. But when hours of ground battle provides little progress, the ANA calls in the most devastating weaponry available: air strikes.

Mission 46 - Abu Ghraib MP

his custom multiplayer map features the Abu Ghraib Prison complex, an enormous sprawl of traditional jail cells and isolated tents that house some of the world`s most wanted fugitives.

Mission 47 - Operation Matador

Al-Qaim, Iraq, May7, 2005: US Marines launch across the Euphrates to intercept insurgents on the Syrian border. But the plan goes awry when rebels from a neighboring village attempt to draw first blood.

Mission 48 - Convoy Escort Ramadi

Ramadi-Fallujah Highway, Iraq: The United States Army is taking steps and developing tools to help its soldiers learn how to anticipate and react to Improvised Explosive Devices - or IEDs - in Iraq. Kuma Reality Games is honored to have been asked to help. Today's mission is a convoy exercise built in conjunction with the Army's Combined Arms Support Command and designed to help prepare our nation's finest for the dangerous missions that lie ahead.

Basra, Iraq, March 27, 2003: In the opening phases of the war, British forces face off in the largest tank battle since World War II.

Mission 50 - Operation New Market

Haditha, Iraq, May 25, 2005: 1,000 Marines and Iraqi soldiers storm the Euphrates city, the staging area from which local and foreign fighters launch vicious attacks.

Mission 51 - Stronghold Siege Simulation

Police stations and other Iraqi government facilities are a favorite target of insurgents seeking to halt the progress of law and order. Should insurgents capture and hold a government site, they succeed in humiliating the government and can battle coalition and Iraqi forces from a well defended position.

Mission 52 - Escape from Asadabad

Asadabad, Afghanistan, June 28, 2005: After a Chinook carrying reinforcements is downed by al Qaeda, four Navy SEALs are left to battle a dozen terrorists. And only one SEAL will make it out alive.

Mission 53 - Operation Spear

Karabilah, Iraq, June 17, 2005: Marines confront insurgents in the streets of Karabilah, only to face a bold and violent response, and one dramatic surprise.

Mission 54 - Iraqi Troops Training Exercise

Training Iraqi troops is a key goal of the US military. This multiplayer map is an example of a war games site the Army could use to train Iraqi forces to defend against insurgents' efforts to hobble the emerging government.

Mission 55 - Baghdad Checkpoint Attack

Baghdad, Iraq, August 24, 2005: Insurgents launch stunning acts of violence against soldiers tasked with the most dangerous of operations: roadside checkpoints.

Mission 56 - Operation Whalers

Korengal Valley, Afghanistan, August 11, 2005: US and Afghan forces launch a merciless strike against the Taliban in response to the brutal murder of 19 Special Forces troops.

Mission 57 - IED Sweep

A year ago, one or two homemade bombs were detonated each day, but today as many as 30 bombs explode in Iraq on a daily basis, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) are currently responsible for eight in every ten American soldiers`s deaths. The snowballing success of IEDs is due to fast manufacturing, simplistic design, and utterly inconspicuous placement.

Mission 58 - Assault on Iran

Two years ago, Iran`s 18-year secret affair with nuclear technology was exposed to the world. As details continue to emerge of black market nuclear equipment shipments from other rogue states, information technology transfers, and massive secret underground facilities, International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors are scrambling to keep up with Iran`s rapid progress. And the world waits anxiously.

Mission 59 - The Crime of Dujayl: Saddam's Revenge

Al-Dujayl, Iraq, July 8, 1982:Under orders from President Saddam Hussein, Iraq is in the midst of invading Iran. The conflict leaves Iraqi Shia towns like Dujayl on edge, and soon, preachers call upon the restive villagers to carry out a homemade Islamic revolution. In a perfect storm of opportunity and rebellion, Saddam comes to town and the townspeople attack.

Mission 60 - Iraqi National Army vs. Insurgents: Struggle in Tikrit

Iraqi soldiers in the volatile Sunni Triangle continue to be a primary target for pro-Saddam loyalists and foreign fighters. The Iraqi police are short on artillery, mortars and armored vehicles, but their investigative skills, convoy security expertise and covert raids are being heralded by US forces.

Mission 61 - Operation Steel Curtain

Husayba, Iraq-November 5, 2005: When al Qaeda operatives take over an Iraqi village on the Syrian border, the US military sends 3,500 combined forces to take back the town.

Mission 62 - Operation Red Dawn

Adwar, Iraq-December 13, 2003: As some 600 soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division and Special Operations move into target areas Wolverine 1 and Wolverine 2, they know they're in search of a high-value target. What they don't know is that their subsequent capture will end within hours-and conclude the largest manhunt in Iraq.

Mission 63 - Overview Wolverine 1

Kuma\War takes you back to where it all began, to Wolverine One-the initial target US forces raided on the night Saddam Hussein's fate was sealed. In this custom Red on Blue multiplayer map, up to four teams are blocked inside the target area, a small stretch of road riddled with multi-story buildings and some surprises for the savviest explorers to find.

Mission 64 - Opium Wars

Helmand Province, Afghanistan-October 10, 2005: Just before nightfall in the western province of Helmand, 150 Afghan police officers come under attack from all sides of a ravine. The ambush against the police convoy is launched by Taliban fighters-no surprise considering the province is feared for its frequent terrorist activity.

Mission 65 - Blood and Oil

Baiji, Iraq-January 4, 2006: Violent attacks by the insurgency against pipelines, refineries and fuel convoys have brought the Iraqi oil industry to its knees. Oil refinement and fuel distribution is at a two-year low, insurgent threats are forcing workers off the job, and the people of Iraq-the second largest oil producing nation-are in a full-blown fuel crisis.

Mission 66 - Blood and Oil Part II.

Baiji, Iraq-January 4, 2006: Violent attacks by the insurgency against pipelines, refineries and fuel convoys have brought the Iraqi oil industry to its knees. Oil refinement and fuel distribution is at a two-year low, insurgent threats are forcing workers off the job, and the people of Iraq-the second largest oil producing nation-are in a full-blown fuel crisis.

Mission 67 - Kuma\War Biathlon Obstacle Course

The Greek word biathlon means two tests, a gauge of excellence in the sports of skiing and shooting. The unlikely marriage of frenzied downhill speed and instant, static precision is steeped in world history.

Mission 68 - MP Tank Battle

Around 4,000 BC, the face of warfare changed forever by the introduction of a unique battlefield vehicle: elephants. The sheer size and power of the beasts were a deterrent to enemy forces, besides the fact that elephants were difficult to kill.

Mission 69 - Port Security

When President Bush approved Dubai Ports World`s bid to take over port security in six key American ports, it sparked a congressional and public debate.

Mission 70 - Port Security, Part II (Cargo Ship)

You`ve cleared the ports of al Qaeda in part I, now face off on the cargo ship against your fellow multiplayers. This custom Red on Blue battle is set against a backdrop of water on all sides.

Mission 71 - Base Assault

In this custom multiplayer map designed for two-team Red on Blue action, Kuma teams square off in one of our most comprehensive ROB designs to date. Your team is in control of a spawn area that includes drivable vehicles and high control towers.

Mission 72 - Urban Hostage Rescue

US Special Forces and British SAS soldiers are well-equipped to handle the horrific abductions that take place in Iraq. But Intel is often limited, and criminals and terrorists that hold foreigners captive are unreasonable and frighteningly unpredictable.

Mission 73 - Mexican Border Battle

Mexicali, Mexico, April 25, 2006: America`s porous borders with Mexico dominated the headlines since President Bush`s announcement a comprehensive plan to combat illegal immigration.

Mission 74 - The British Empire Strikes Back: Canadian Counterstrike

Helmand Province, Afghanistan, March 29, 2006 The battle begins long before the Canadian troops arrive. Earlier, with a barrage of assault rifles and roadside bombs, Taliban fighters had launched an attack against a vulnerable Afghan Army convoy. It is a short-lived victory. Soon, the Canadians will step in and force the tide to take a vicious turn against the Taliban.

Mission 75 - The Death of al-Zarqawi

Hibhib, Iraq June 7, 2006 The manhunt for Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, one of the most brutal terrorists in history, ends after 4 years of elusion and acts of violence so inhumane they made even al Qaeda recoil.

Mission 76 - Payback in Iraq MP

In September 2005, Kuma released the controversial "Assault on Iran" episode, our investigation of how the US Special Forces might put a halt to Iran's nuclear program.

Mission 77 - Death Penalty MP

Iraqi prisons typically house some of the most hostile and uncooperative insurgents in the entire Middle East. But in this custom multiplayer map, a vicious and simultaneous string of attacks is launched from the inside, and it's not the prisoners who are to blame.

Mission 78 - Sard City MP

In May of 2004, Kuma released its first mission based in Sadr City while 1st Cavalry soldiers were engaged in a bloody, two-day battle throughout the region that captivated the world and brought attention to Muqtada al Sadr and his loyal fighters for their harrowing acts of violence in Sadr City.

Mission 79 - Sadr City SP

In May of 2004, Kuma released its first mission based in Sadr City while 1st Cavalry soldiers were engaged in a bloody, two-day battle throughout the region that captivated the world and brought attention to Muqtada al Sadr and his loyal fighters for their harrowing acts of violence in Sadr City.

Mission 80 - Afgan MP

January 10, 2007: Through the black of night, 12 dozen Taliban fighters infiltrate Afghanistan via the Pakistan border. Armed to the teeth, the terrorists move en masse to join the bitter war against US and Afghan forces. But through the darkness, the army is spotted.

Mission 81 - Baghdad Surge

January 24, 2007:While the Senate and the president debate sending a military "surge" of force into Baghdad, 1,000 US and Iraqi forces launch a massive strike upon a fierce Baghdad neighborhood. January 24, 2007:While the Senate and the president debate sending a military "surge" of force into Baghdad, 1,000 US and Iraqi forces launch a massive strike upon a fierce Baghdad neighborhood. Backed by Apache helicopters, F-15s, Iraqi gun trucks, and Strykers, Haifa Street becomes a bloody war zone overnight.

Mission 83 - Baghdad Surge CO-OP

This episode is designed exclusively for cooperative (co-op) game play. Co-op mode allows you to join a team of real-world participants and work as one unit to achieve the game objectives and eliminate the enemy AI.
