Hibhib, Iraq—June 7, 2006: You enter this mission as a Delta Force operator tasked with pinpointing the location of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq.
Hot on the trail of the most wanted man in Iraq, you’ve got two choices: call in an air strike to completely incapacitate the enemy or move your ground troops in to take the terrorist down personally.
Should you decide to infiltrate the building, be prepared to do battle with Zarqawi’s henchmen—highly trained killers that won’t let the al Qaeda kingpin go down without a vicious, bloody fight.
Quickly move your troops from your covert positions into the safe house for an anything-but-ordinary urban assault. If al-Zarqawi and his men escape from the safe house they’ll vanish into the vast Iraqi landscape, where it will be much more difficult to surround the enemy. Consider using your troops to create a cordon around the building to block any routes of escape.
With stealth and speed you’ll secure each room, overpowering al-Zarqawi’s protectors until you reach the final target. It is dusk, but the flashlight on your M16 will help you identify and get a clear shot of the enemy.
Once you’ve taken down al-Zarqawi and secured the safe house, lead your troops to the exit zone to complete the mission.
